These terms apply to your use of the Mezra website, our reservations service and any payments made to Mezra.

1. About these terms

This website (the "Site") is operated by Mezra ("we", "us", "our"), trading at The Mezra, Brentwood, Essex, CM13 3AE, United Kingdom. By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Reservations

Reservations made through this Site are processed by our booking partner SevenRooms. A reservation is confirmed only once you receive a confirmation email or message. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a reservation in cases of force majeure, double-booking, or breach of these terms.

If you cannot keep a reservation, please cancel through the link in your confirmation email so that the table can be released. Repeated no-shows may result in us declining future bookings.

3. Payments, deposits and card pre-authorisations

Certain bookings (for example, large groups, special events or private hire) may require a deposit or a card pre-authorisation at the time of booking. Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Fiserv. We do not store your full card details on our own systems.

All payments are taken in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. The amount and conditions of any deposit are shown to you before you confirm the booking. For how deposits and payments are refunded, see our Refund Policy.

4. Pricing and availability

All prices on the Site are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Menus, dishes and drinks are subject to availability and we may withdraw or substitute items at short notice.

5. Allergens

If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please tell us when booking and speak to a member of our team before ordering. Our kitchen handles a wide range of ingredients and we cannot guarantee a fully allergen-free environment.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or that interferes with its operation. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, photography, video, branding and the Mezra name and monogram, is owned by us or our licensors. You may view and share content for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not reproduce or use it commercially without our written permission.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law. Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.
